Correlux P-1 Standard - Two radio channels |
|
The correlator Correlux P1 is used for leak location on pipes for potable water.
Water, escaping a leak under pressure, creates a noise which travels into both directions of the pipe. This noise is recorded by two sensors attached to the pipe ( e. g. valves, hydrants), amplified and transmitted to the correlator.
The Correlux P-1 compares both signals (correlation) and calculates the exact distance to the leak from the signal delay, the sensor distance and the sound velocity
Easy to use:
- Simple operation with rotary encoder
- Rugged and compact
- Large, high-contrast ¼ VGA display with optimal visibility in any light condition
- <500 mW radio power for great range, even out of line of sight
- Transmitter with headphone connection to listen to the leak noise. Graphic and numeric level display for faster pre-location
- Possibility to charge the entire system within the transport case via mains adaptor or car adaptor. Direct charging or operation via headphone socket.
- Optimised antenna and sensor connection-no disassembly necessary for transport
- Extensive list of accessories
Salient Features:
- Simultaneous display of the correlation trace and the coherence spectrum (FFT analysis).
- Quick filter optimisation without the use of menus
- Automatic and manual filter adjustment 0 ... 4000 Hz
- Autocorrelation for leak location on dead ends
- Possibility of measurements on mixed pipe materials with up to 6 pipe sections
- Velocity measurement for unknown pipe materials
- Optimised display of the correlation trace to safely analyse leaks. Continuous measurement and averaging
- Active piezo ceramic accelerometers, best suited for plastic pipes
- Internal trace memory and PC software for hardcopy and archiving
- Software updates via RS 232 interface
